Genessis LeBato  E-RYT200, YACEP

Having a bit over 10 years of yoga experience, Genessis is a proud dog mom with a strong heart for others. Through a regular yoga practice, she attests to being able to overcome life's challenges whether physical, emotional, or mental. With the help of her puppies and the power of meditation, she found that yoga can truly heal.

Taking ownership of the studio in early 2020 had it challenges; doing so during a national pandemic created mountains which needed to be climbed. In meeting those challenges head-on, they became gifts and valuable lessons. Again yoga, and support at home, has helped to get her through it all. With a desire to share the impact yoga has made in her life, she would like everyone to know that they belong and there is a place for each unique individual. She looks forward to meeting you out on the mat!

Genessis currently has specialties in several types of yoga including Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Chair, and Adaptive Yoga. She is currently working toward her advanced 300Hour certification as well as a certification in Mediation Leadership.

Robin Trotter  RYT200

After a business career in Human Resources Management in Health & Elder Care, Robin relocated from Connecticut to Florida in 2010. She began practicing Yoga as her Therapeutic Massage business was becoming established. While recovering from a work-related back injury in 2016, Robin received a message during Meditation guiding her to teach Yoga. She thought that was pretty funny because she hadn’t been a serious student of Yoga, but when one receives a message in Meditation, one listens. Robin completed her 200-hour training and became certified through Heartwood Yoga & Retreat Center in Bradenton in 2017, and is also certified in Chair Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Heart Energy Yoga.  She is eager to pursue further Yoga Teacher Training particularly in Restorative, Subtle Yoga, and Therapeutic Yoga.  As a Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki II Practitioner with certification in many manual and energy-based therapies, she believes in blending her healing skills and knowledge with teaching Yoga and Meditation to encourage relaxation while enhancing the body-mind-spirit connection.  *Robin is currently enrolled in her advanced 300 Teacher Training at Heartwood Yoga Institute.

Kay Holland  200YTT

Kay’s yogic journey began in college. As a mathematics and education major, she searched for another way to incorporate movement into her life. She was soon introduced to yoga, to the asanas (poses) and pranayama (breath). While continuing her new love of yoga, she also branched into ballet and modern dance. This gave her the balance of the pragmatic math (yang chi) and the more esoteric yoga (yin chi) that she had needed.

In the late 80’s, she met a yogini guru whose guidance and direction led Kay to yoga teacher training. This started a deep personal practice and hunger for extensive yogic education. And hasn’t stopped since!

Today, she is working on receiving her official 200RYT certification. Her goal is to keep moving, keep her sense of humor and share the joy that she has found in her life with others. Knowing that “making it to the mat” can be the hardest part of a class, she congratulates all who walk in.

She looks forward to meeting you all very soon!

“This is an adventure, a journey, not a destination. I encourage you to join me on this inward and outward journey to find your own path!”
